Leadership
IBLA is an independent initiative founded and led entirely by Connor Gunawan. Driven by a personal conviction that Indonesia’s next generation of economic thinkers deserves a national platform to prove their potential, Connor built IBLA from the ground up as a free, accessible, and academically rigorous competition open to all Indonesian high school students.
The mission is straightforward: remove the financial and geographic barriers that have historically prevented talented students in remote provinces from competing on equal footing with their peers in major cities. Every IBLA competition is designed to be 100% online, entirely free to enter, and judged solely on academic merit.
